Instructions

  1. Place a large, non-stick skillet with a tight-fitting lid over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the vegetable oil to the pan and let it heat for one minute.
  3. Arrange the frozen dumplings in a single layer in the hot pan, ensuring they do not overlap.
  4. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.
  5. Carefully pour the water into the pan around the dumplings, avoiding pouring directly over them.
  6. Immediately cover the pan with the lid.
  7. Reduce the heat to medium and steam the dumplings for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the water has evaporated and the filling is cooked through.
  8. Remove the lid and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes to re-crisp the bottoms if needed.
