- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
- Season the ribs generously with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil.

- While the ribs are baking, make the BBQ sauce by combining the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper (if using) in a saucepan.
- Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
- Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap.
- Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) or preheat your grill to medium heat.
- Brush the ribs generously with the BBQ sauce.
- Return the ribs to the oven or grill and cook for another 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.
- Let the ribs rest for a few minutes before cutting and serving.
Notes
- For extra smoky flavor, you can finish the ribs on a smoker for the last hour of cooking.
- Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to your desired level of heat.
- These ribs are delicious served with coleslaw, cornbread, and baked beans.
