Description
A delicious grilled cheese sandwich with pesto and mozzarella.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 tablespoons pesto
- 4 ounces mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Spread pesto on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer mozzarella cheese on one slice of bread, pesto-side up.
- Top with the other slice of bread, pesto-side down.
- Butter the outside of the sandwich.
- Grill in a pan over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a thin layer of mayonnaise to the outside of the bread before grilling.
- Use fresh mozzarella for the best melt.
