Ingredients

- 1 lb fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine strawberries, sugar, and water in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Stir in lemon juice.
- Pour mixture into an ice cream maker.
- Freeze according to manufacturer’s instructions.
- Alternatively, pour into a shallow pan and freeze for 4 hours, stirring every hour.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer.

- For a richer flavor, use ripe, in-season strawberries.
