A quick and healthy stir-fry featuring tender asparagus and succulent shrimp, perfect for a weeknight meal.
Ingredients

- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add asparagus and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Add shrimp and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until pink and cooked through.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the shrimp and asparagus. Stir to coat and cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic and ginger.
- You can substitute broccoli or snap peas for asparagus.
