Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • 4 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts, buffalo sauce, and water in a slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours, until chicken is cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken and shred it using two forks.
  4. Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir in the butter until melted.
  5. Divide the shredded chicken among the four buns.
  6. Top each sandwich with one slice of pepper jack cheese.
  7. Broil for 1-2 minutes until cheese melts.
  8. Top with shredded lettuce and drizzle with ranch dressing before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute blue cheese dressing for ranch if preferred.
