Description

These S’mores Bars offer a delightful twist on the classic campfire treat, combining a buttery graham cracker crust, a rich chocolatey filling, and toasted marshmallows on top. They are easy to make and perfect for sharing.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag milk chocolate chips
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Remove from oven.
  4. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the hot graham cracker crust. Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until chocolate chips are slightly melted.
  5. Remove from oven and spread the melted chocolate evenly with an offset spatula.
  6. Top with an even layer of mini marshmallows.
  7. Return to the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until marshmallows are golden brown and puffed. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
  8. Let cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into bars. This allows the chocolate to set properly.

Notes

  • For easier cutting, chill the bars in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
