Description

Easy and delicious s’mores bars with a graham cracker crust, chocolate filling, and toasted marshmallow topping.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  3. Bake for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the crust. Add nuts if using.
  5. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes, or until chocolate chips are softened.
  6. Spread the softened chocolate evenly.
  7. Top with mini marshmallows.
  8. Bake for another 2-3 minutes, until marshmallows are lightly toasted.
  9. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • For a richer chocolate flavor, use semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • Toast marshmallows under the broiler, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  • Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature.
