- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (15 ounce) can sloppy joe sauce
- 2 cups diced potatoes (about 2 medium)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in sloppy joe sauce and diced potatoes.
- Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle cheese over the top and cover until melted.
Notes
- You can use pre-cooked diced potatoes to reduce cooking time.
- Add your favorite vegetables like bell peppers or corn for extra flavor.
