Ingredients

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Combine sugar and water in a saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Do not boil.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Pour into a clean container for storage.
Notes
- Store simple syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one month.
- For a richer syrup, use a 2:1 ratio of sugar to water.
