Garlic Butter Shrimp

Description

A quick and easy shrimp recipe with garlic and butter.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook shrimp until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Pour in white wine or chicken broth and lemon juice.
  6. Simmer for 1 minute, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  7. Stir in fresh parsley.
  8. Serve immediately.
