- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 packet Taco Seasoning
- 1 head Romaine Lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 cup Diced Tomatoes
- 1 cup Black Beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup Corn Kernels
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 1/2 cup Salsa
- 1/4 cup Sliced Black Olives
- 1/4 cup Crushed Tortilla Chips
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water according to package directions. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a large serving bowl or individual bowls, layer the ingredients: start with chopped lettuce, then seasoned ground beef, shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, black beans, and corn.
- Dollop with sour cream and salsa.
- Sprinkle with black olives and crushed tortilla chips.
Notes
- For a spicier salad, add jalapeños.
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for ground beef.
- Serve immediately for best texture.
