Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 ounces) refried beans
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix refried beans with taco seasoning. Spread evenly in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in sour cream. Spread this mixture over the refried beans.
  3. Top with salsa, spreading it evenly.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the salsa.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes.
  6. Scatter sliced black olives over the tomatoes.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is melted.

Notes

  • Serve warm with tortilla chips.
  • For a spicier dip, add jalapeños.
