Description

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf pre-made pizza dough
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced or torn
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Stretch or roll out the pizza dough to your desired shape, about 1/2 inch thick. Place it on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Brush the dough surface evenly with olive oil.
  4. Scatter the minced garlic over the oiled dough.
  5. Arrange the tomato halves and mozzarella pieces over the dough.
  6. Sprinkle with dried oregano, salt, and pepper.
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and slightly bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with fresh chopped basil.
  9. Slice and serve warm.
