Description

A simple recipe for cooking mushrooms and spinach together with garlic and butter.


Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 5 ounces fresh spinach
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they release their moisture and start to brown, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add spinach to the skillet in batches, stirring until it wilts down completely.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve immediately.

  • You can add a splash of lemon juice at the end for brightness.
