Description

Cool down with these refreshing root beer float popsicles, a fun twist on a classic treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups root beer
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Pour root beer into a large measuring cup or bowl. Stir gently to release some of the carbonation, about 1-2 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract until well combined and slightly thickened.
  3. Slowly pour the cream mixture into the root beer, stirring gently to combine. Be careful not to create too much foam.
  4. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top.
  5. Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until solid.
  6. To remove, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds.

Notes

  • For a creamier popsicle, use a higher ratio of cream mixture to root beer.
  • You can add a maraschino cherry to the bottom of each mold before freezing for extra flavor and color.
  • Store leftover popsicles in an airtight container in the freezer.
