Description
Cool down with these refreshing root beer float popsicles, a fun twist on a classic treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups root beer
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Pour root beer into a large measuring cup or bowl. Stir gently to release some of the carbonation, about 1-2 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract until well combined and slightly thickened.
- Slowly pour the cream mixture into the root beer, stirring gently to combine. Be careful not to create too much foam.
- Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top.
- Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until solid.
- To remove, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds.
Notes
- For a creamier popsicle, use a higher ratio of cream mixture to root beer.
- You can add a maraschino cherry to the bottom of each mold before freezing for extra flavor and color.
- Store leftover popsicles in an airtight container in the freezer.
