A simple and fast recipe for delicious Korean Bulgogi.
Ingredients

- 1 pound thinly sliced beef (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1/2 small onion, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper.
- Add the thinly sliced beef and sliced onion to the marinade. Toss to coat evenly.
- Marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef and onions to the hot pan. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped green onions during the last minute of cooking.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
- For best results, use thinly sliced beef.
- Adjust sugar to your sweetness preference.
- Serve with rice and your favorite Korean side dishes.
