Description

These pumpkin yogurt paw popsicles are a healthy and refreshing treat for your dog. They are easy to make and perfect for warm weather.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup plain unsweetened yogurt
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (unsweetened, plain)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (xylitol-free)
  • 1/4 cup water (optional, for thinner consistency)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the yogurt, pumpkin puree, and peanut butter.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  3. If the mixture is too thick, add water a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. Pour the mixture into ice cube trays or silicone paw molds.
  5. Insert a small dog-safe treat or a piece of carrot into each mold for a handle, if desired.
  6. Freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until solid.
  7. Once frozen, pop out the paw popsicles and serve to your dog.

Notes

  • Always use plain, unsweetened yogurt. Flavored yogurts can contain artificial sweeteners harmful to dogs.
  • Ensure the peanut butter is xylitol-free, as xylitol is toxic to dogs.
  • Supervise your dog while they enjoy the popsicle.
  • Store any leftover popsicles in a freezer-safe container.
