Pepperoni Pizza Quesadillas

Description

A quick recipe for making quesadillas filled with pizza ingredients like pepperoni and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Brush one side of a tortilla lightly with olive oil.
  3. Place the oiled side down in the skillet.
  4. Spread half of the tortilla with pizza sauce, leaving a border.
  5. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese and half of the pepperoni over the sauce.
  6. Fold the empty half of the tortilla over the filling.
  7. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from the skillet and repeat with the remaining ingredients for the second quesadilla.
  9. Slice each quesadilla into wedges before serving.

Notes

  • You can add other pizza toppings like mushrooms or peppers if desired.
  • Serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
