Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the diced mango, diced pineapple, finely diced red onion, chopped cilantro, and minced jalapeños (if using).
  2. Pour in the fresh lime juice.
  3. Add a pinch of salt.
  4. Gently stir all ingredients until well combined.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a sweeter salsa, use a very ripe mango.
  • For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeño.
