- 1 ripe mango, diced
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional)
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the diced mango, diced pineapple, finely diced red onion, chopped cilantro, and minced jalapeños (if using).
- Pour in the fresh lime juice.
- Add a pinch of salt.
- Gently stir all ingredients until well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve immediately or chill for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a sweeter salsa, use a very ripe mango.
- For extra heat, leave some seeds in the jalapeño.
- This salsa is best enjoyed fresh.
