Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, 1 cup sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and 2 tablespoons flour. Mix well.
  3. Pour the peach mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Gradually stir in the milk until a soft dough forms.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the dough over the peach mixture.
