Easy one-pot cheesy taco pasta recipe. Perfect for a quick weeknight meal.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 packet (1 ounce) taco seasoning
- 2 1/4 cups water
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- Optional toppings: sour cream, salsa, chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a large pot over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in chopped onion and cook until softened.
- Add taco seasoning, water, and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in uncooked macaroni. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until pasta is tender and liquid is absorbed.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded Cheddar cheese until melted.
- Serve warm with optional toppings.
Notes
- Adjust taco seasoning to your spice preference.
- Use a different type of pasta if desired.
- Add other vegetables like bell peppers or corn.
