Scale
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, packed
  • 1/2 cup fresh oregano leaves, packed
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the parsley and oregano.
  2. Mince the garlic.
  3. Combine the chopped herbs, minced garlic, olive oil, red wine vinegar, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Let the sauce sit for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of red pepper flakes for desired heat.
  • For a smoother sauce, pulse the ingredients briefly in a food processor, but avoid over-processing.
