Ingredients

  • 4 packages (3 ounces each) flavored gelatin (various colors)
  • 4 cups boiling water, divided
  • 4 cups cold water, divided
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • ½ cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Prepare each package of flavored gelatin separately according to package directions using 1 cup boiling water and 1 cup cold water. Pour each color into a separate shallow dish. Refrigerate until firm, at least 3 hours or overnight.
  2. Cut the firm gelatin into ½-inch cubes. Gently combine the cubes in a large bowl.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  4. In a small saucepan, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over ½ cup cold water. Let stand for 5 minutes to soften. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not boil.
  5. Gradually whisk the dissolved gelatin mixture into the softened cream cheese until well combined.
  6. Gradually whisk in the sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  7. Gently fold the gelatin cubes into the cream cheese mixture.
  8. Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish or a large mold.
  9. Refrigerate until firm, at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Cut into squares or unmold to serve.

  • For easier cutting, lightly grease the dishes before pouring the gelatin.
