Simple recipe for baking chicken thighs seasoned with aromatic Middle Eastern Baharat spice blend.

- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons Baharat spice blend
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, Baharat spice blend, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over all surfaces of the chicken thighs.
- Place the seasoned chicken thighs skin-side up in a baking dish.
- Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) and the skin is crisp.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the chicken before serving.
- If you do not have Baharat, you can substitute with a mix of cumin, coriander, paprika, black pepper, and a pinch of cinnamon.
