- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine self-rising flour and heavy cream.
- Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface.
- Pat dough to about 1/2 inch thickness.
- Cut biscuits using a biscuit cutter or glass.
- Place biscuits on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For best results, use cold heavy cream.
- Do not twist the biscuit cutter when cutting dough.
- You can brush the tops with melted butter for extra flavor.
