Ingredients

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine ground chicken, red onion, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently until just combined; do not overmix.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook patties for 5 to 7 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F or 74°C).
- Remove from heat and serve immediately.
Notes
- Serve these patties on lettuce wraps or with a side of tzatziki sauce.
- You can bake these patties at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes if preferred over pan-frying.
