A delicious and satisfying dish of crispy fries loaded with seasoned ground beef and melted cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 large potatoes, cut into fries
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- Optional toppings: sour cream, chopped chives, jalapeños
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss fries with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- While fries are baking, cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove fries from oven. Top with seasoned ground beef and shredded cheeses.
- Return to oven for 5-7 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve immediately with optional toppings.
Notes
- For extra crispy fries, soak them in cold water for 30 minutes before baking.
- Adjust seasonings to your preference.
