A refreshing twist on the classic Tiramisu, this Lemon Tiramisu Delight features a bright citrus flavor combined with creamy mascarpone and delicate ladyfingers.
Ingredients

- 250g mascarpone cheese
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 100g granulated sugar
- 100ml fresh lemon juice
- Zest of 2 lemons
- 200g ladyfingers
- 100ml limoncello (optional)
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Beat egg yolks with sugar until pale and creamy.
- Stir in mascarpone cheese, lemon juice, and lemon zest until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold whipped egg whites into the mascarpone mixture.
- If using limoncello, dip ladyfingers briefly in it.
- Arrange a layer of ladyfingers in a serving dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Repeat with another layer of ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Chill for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
