A flavor explosion combining the best of smash burgers and tacos.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped white onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Salsa, for serving
- Sour cream, for serving
Instructions
- Divide ground beef into 8 equal portions.
- Season beef portions with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Place beef portions onto the hot skillet and smash them flat with a spatula.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.
- Warm tortillas according to package directions.
- Place a smashed beef patty onto each tortilla.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onion, and cilantro.
- Fold tortillas in half to form tacos.
- Serve immediately with salsa and sour cream.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder to the beef.
- You can also add your favorite burger toppings like lettuce, tomato, or pickles.
