A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender chicken and crisp cabbage in a savory sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 medium head of cabbage, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss chicken with soy sauce and cornstarch.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and stir-fry until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet.
- Add cabbage, garlic, and ginger to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until cabbage is tender-crisp.
- In a small bowl, whisk together chicken broth, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
- Return chicken to the skillet. Pour sauce over chicken and cabbage.
- Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Serve immediately over cooked rice.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic and ginger.
- You can substitute chicken thighs for chicken breasts.
