A creamy and flavorful pasta bake with Cajun seasoned chicken and cream cheese.

- 1 pound pasta
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, season chicken pieces with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in the skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
- Reduce heat to low. Add softened cream cheese and milk to the skillet. Stir until cream cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta and cooked chicken to the skillet with the sauce. Stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.
Notes
- For extra spice, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the sauce.
- You can add vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli to the bake.
