- 1 onion, chopped

- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for at least 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot.
