- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Place the softened butter in a medium bowl.
- Add the minced garlic, parsley, chives, thyme, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
- Use a fork or spatula to mix all ingredients together until they are evenly combined.
- Place the butter mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap or parchment paper.
- Roll the butter into a log shape.
- Wrap the log tightly and chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before using.
Notes
- You can substitute other fresh herbs like rosemary or oregano.
- Store the butter in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or freeze for up to three months.
