  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove the sausage and set aside.
  3. Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender-crisp.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  6. Return the sausage to the skillet. Add the shrimp and pour the sauce over everything.
