Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 50 wonton wrappers
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups chopped bok choy
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground pork, green onions, soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil, and white pepper. Mix well.
  2. Place about 1 teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Fold the wonton wrapper in half to form a triangle, pressing the edges to seal.
  4. Bring the chicken broth to a boil in a large pot.
  5. Add the wontons, bok choy, and mushrooms to the boiling broth.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes, or until wontons are cooked through and float to the surface.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot.
