Description

Simple and fun mummy-shaped hot dogs cooked quickly in the air fryer for a Halloween treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 hot dogs
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • Mustard or ketchup for eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 370 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. Cut each triangle lengthwise into thin strips, about 1/2 inch wide.
  4. Wrap each hot dog with the dough strips, leaving a small space near one end for the face.
  5. Place the wrapped hot dogs in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly.
  8. Use mustard or ketchup to dot two eyes onto the exposed part of the hot dog.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use reduced-fat crescent dough for a lighter option.
  • If your air fryer cooks unevenly, flip the mummies halfway through cooking.
