Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
  4. Add the drained corn, ranch seasoning mix, and water to the skillet. Stir to combine.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Cover the skillet and let it sit for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
