- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls
- 4 slices American cheese, cut into quarters
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture and one-quarter of a cheese slice on the wide end of each crescent roll.
- Roll up the crescent dough from the wide end to the pointed end, enclosing the filling.
- Place the rolled bombs on a baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, and Parmesan cheese.
- Brush the garlic parmesan butter over the tops of the crescent bombs.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the beef mixture.
- You can use other types of cheese, such as cheddar or mozzarella, for variety.
- Store leftover bombs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
