Easy and fun pizza pockets shaped like footballs, perfect for game day.
Ingredients

- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup mini pepperoni
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 4 rectangles. Pinch the seams together to form one large rectangle.
- Cut the dough into 8 equal squares.
- In a small bowl, mix the pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the pizza mixture onto one half of each square of dough.
- Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and press the edges to seal.
- Use a fork to crimp the edges of each pocket.
- Cut small slits on top of each pocket to resemble laces.
- Place the pockets on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with the beaten egg wash.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute other pizza toppings like cooked sausage or chopped vegetables.
- For crispier pockets, bake for a few extra minutes.
