- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce

- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch cake pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, chia seeds, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the applesauce, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
