Festive and colorful Rice Krispie treats perfect for celebrations.
Ingredients

- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 10 ounces marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Red and blue food coloring
- Red, white, and blue sprinkles
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large pot over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Divide the marshmallow mixture into three equal parts in separate bowls.
- Tint one part red with food coloring and another part blue. Leave the third part plain.
- Add 2 cups of Rice Krispies to each bowl and stir until coated.
- Press the red, white, and blue mixtures in layers into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
- Top with sprinkles.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For easier handling, you can grease your hands or a spatula with butter before pressing the mixture into the pan.
- Ensure the marshmallows are fully melted for smooth treats.
