Description

A rich, creamy hot beverage combining the flavors of eggnog with white chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup eggnog
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pour milk and heavy cream into a medium saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium heat until small bubbles form around the edges; do not boil.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat.
  4. Add the white chocolate chips to the hot milk mixture.
  5. Let stand for 2 minutes to soften the chocolate.
  6. Whisk the mixture until the white chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  7. Stir in the eggnog and vanilla extract.
  8. Return the saucepan to low heat and warm through for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Do not let it boil.
  9. Pour into mugs and sprinkle with ground nutmeg before serving.

Notes
