- 1 (21 ounce) can fruit pie filling
- 1 (15.25 ounce) box cake mix
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the fruit pie filling into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking pan. Spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit filling. Do not stir.
- Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix. Do not stir.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can use any flavor of fruit pie filling and cake mix.
- Add nuts or shredded coconut on top of the butter for extra flavor and texture.
- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
