Quick and easy beef and broccoli stir-fry recipe.
Ingredients

- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- Cooked rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss beef with 1 tablespoon soy sauce and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from skillet.
- Add garlic and ginger to skillet and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
- Add broccoli and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until bright green.
- In a small bowl, whisk together remaining 1 tablespoon soy sauce, beef broth, honey, and rice vinegar.
- Pour sauce over broccoli and bring to a simmer.
- Return beef to skillet and stir to coat.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes until beef is heated through and sauce has thickened.
- Serve immediately over cooked rice.
Notes
- Slice beef against the grain for tenderness.
- Do not overcrowd the pan when cooking beef. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Adjust honey amount to your preference for sweetness.
