- 1/2 cup Dr Pepper
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange bacon slices in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together Dr Pepper, brown sugar, chili powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the Dr Pepper mixture over the bacon, ensuring each slice is coated.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and caramelized.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, flip the bacon halfway through baking.
- Adjust chili powder for desired spice level.
- This bacon is great as a snack, on sandwiches, or crumbled over salads.
