A simple recipe for a creamy, sweet, and satisfying vegan peanut punch drink.
Ingredients

- 4 cups water
- 1 cup raw peanuts
- 1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)
- 1/4 cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Soak the raw peanuts in water for at least 4 hours or overnight. Drain and rinse them.
- Combine the soaked peanuts, rolled oats, sugar, cinnamon, and salt with 4 cups of fresh water in a high-speed blender.
- Blend the mixture until it is completely smooth. This may take several minutes. Stop and scrape down the sides as needed.
- Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or a cheesecloth into a large bowl or pitcher to remove any remaining pulp. Press down on the solids to extract all the liquid.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Chill the punch in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Stir well before pouring, as some settling may occur. Serve cold.
Notes
- Adjust the sugar amount based on your preference for sweetness.
- For a thicker punch, reduce the initial amount of water slightly.
- You can substitute brown sugar for white sugar for a deeper flavor.
