Ingredients

- 1 box cake mix (any flavor)
- 1 can (21 oz) pie filling (any flavor)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup nuts, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour pie filling into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Evenly sprinkle cake mix over the pie filling.
- Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix.
- Sprinkle with nuts, if using.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
- Experiment with different cake mix and pie filling combinations.
- For a richer flavor, use a butter pecan cake mix.
