Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat chickpeas very dry with a paper towel.
  3. In a medium bowl, toss chickpeas with olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and cayenne pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Spread chickpeas in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy, stirring halfway through.
  6. Remove from oven and immediately toss with fresh lime juice.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
