Crock Pot Cubed Steak

Description

A simple recipe for tender cubed steak cooked slowly in a slow cooker.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs cubed steak
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the sliced onion in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Place the cubed steak over the onions.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.
  4. Pour the soup mixture over the steak.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  7. Serve hot.

  • Serve this dish over mashed potatoes or egg noodles for a complete meal.
  • If the sauce seems too thick, add a small amount of water or extra beef broth.
